Copper Hummingbird by Nancy Biggins
The Original Bee-Proof Hummingbird Feeder

Single Feeder II

Dress up your yard with this beautiful piece of art while feeding the jewels of the sky!

For over twenty years I was one of the people responsible for maintaining the hummingbird collection at the Arizona-Sonora desert Museum in Tucson, AZ.  I created my first hummingbird feeders in 2006 when the hummingbird aviary was inundated with so many bees that the hummingbirds couldn't get to the food in the typical-style feeders we used.

In addition to being bee and wasp-proof, my feeders are easy to clean and are virtually unbreakable...factors necessary for zookeepers who change 30 feeders twice daily.

Each feeder comes with two one-ounce, dishwasher-safe, plastic feeding jars with lids.

1-3 hummingbirds will empty a jar of food in about 2 days (depending on the time of year, other available food sources, whether one bird is capable of defending the feeder from other birds, etc). However, the feeders are most effective against bees and wasps if changed daily.

Instructions for use included.

Dimensions: (approximate) 7-inches wide and 3-inches deep, 9-inches tall
